“Warning Signs of Fundamentalisms,” a book published by Women Living Under Muslim Laws (WLUML) in 2004, can now be downloaded for free at WLUML website <http://www.wluml.org>.
This book includes many of the papers presented at WLUML's 2002 conference, also bearing the same title. Many of the papers relate to a variety of country-specific case studies from Afghanistan, Algeria, Austria, Bangladesh, Egypt, Gambia, India, Iran, Malaysia, Nigeria, Palestine, Rwanda, South Africa, the USA, and Yugoslavia. Other papers focus on global issues such as Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender identities, multiculturalism, the Internet, as well as fundamentalisms in Catholic, Hindu and Jewish contexts.
