Following an e-forum on “Sexual Pleasure, Sexuality, and Rights” which ran last October – December 2005, The South and Southeast Asia Resource Centre on Sexuality will launch its second e-forum on “Sexuality and Censorship” from 16 January to 16 March 2006.

The eight-week electronic discussion will provide space to debate, dialogue, and contribute to the discourse on sexuality and censorship. The e-forum will be broken up into four main sub-topics and will highlight different themes, including various forms of censorship and their effects on individual and collective expression, representation and understanding the complex relationship between sexuality and censorship.

The South and Southeast Asia Resource Centre on Sexuality is hosted by TARSHI (Talking About Reproductive and Sexual Health Issues) in New Delhi, India. TARSHI is an NGO that believes that all people have a right to sexual well-being and a self-affirming and enjoyable sexuality. It focuses on sexuality related work in China, India, Indonesia, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Thailand, the Philippines and Vietnam.
