The Pakistan Press Foundation is inviting journalists to submit entries for the Gender in Journalism Awards 2007, which gives recognition to outstanding reports on gender-related issues as well as to an outstanding woman journalist. Deadline for submission is April 15, 2007.

The 5th annual Gender in Journalism Awards, organised by the Pakistan Press Foundation (PPF), is inviting entries from journalists committed to gender-sensitive reporting.

There are two sets of awards to be given—(1) recognition of excellence in gender-sensitive reporting open to both male and female journalists, and (2) recognition for outstanding coverage of any issue by a woman journalist.

News and feature articles published in the Pakistani print media during 2006 will be considered for the Awards. Entries should be received on or before April 15, 2007.
