A new primer, titled, “Free/Open Source Software: Network Infrastructure and Security,” has recently been released by the International Open Source Network (IOSN), an initiative of the United Nations Development Programme—Asia-Pacific Development Information Programme (UNDP-APDIP).

The free e-primer walks its readers on an introduction to free and open source software, network concepts and architecture, and networking as well as security functions with FOSS.
